Founder & Managing Partner, Lakeshore Human Capital Inc.

Mandeep Grewal is the Founder and Managing Partner of Lakeshore Human Capital Inc., bringing nearly 20 years of executive search and leadership advisory experience to clients across Canada and internationally. Known for his strategic insight, hands-on approach, and commitment to excellence, he has successfully completed over 350 executive search assignments, spanning Director to CEO-level roles for leading public and private organizations.

Before founding Lakeshore Human Capital, Mandeep spent more than a decade with Korn/Ferry International, where he became one of the firm’s youngest global partners, followed by five years with Rosenzweig & Company. His ability to combine deep market knowledge with a personalized, research-driven process has earned him a strong reputation among senior executives and boards alike.

Mandeep holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from McMaster University and an MBA from York University’s Schulich School of Business. A strong believer in community engagement, he previously served six years on the Board of Indus Community Services and is the current Chair of its Foundation. He lives in the Greater Toronto Area with his wife and two children.

Varinder is a serial entrepreneur and technology leader with over 25 years of experience in solution delivery and data management.  As the Founder of GameElevate Inc., he has combined his passion for technology and sports to create innovative, data-driven solutions that empower athletes and organizations alike.

Throughout his career, Varinder has demonstrated exceptional leadership across startups, small to medium enterprises, and large corporations, consistently driving growth through innovation and strategic vision. An engineer by training and an EMBA graduate from the Richard Ivey School of Business, he brings both technical expertise and business acumen to every endeavor.

Beyond his professional achievements, Varinder is deeply committed to giving back to the community through his involvement with DAMA Toronto and Indus Community Services. Known for his mentorship and coaching, he actively supports individuals and teams in realizing their full potential.

Varinder is passionate about basketball and advocate for youth development, He lives in Oakville with his wife, children, and their dog, embracing a life rooted in family, purpose, and community impact.

Maninder was born and raised in Mississauga, Ontario. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and studied Management Accounting at the University of Waterloo.

Maninder’s diverse career includes roles as a Fraud Investigator, Internal Audit Director, Foreign Corruption Consultant, Management Consultant, and Chief Financial Officer for public companies in both the United States and Canada. In these positions, he focused on protecting stakeholder investments. He currently serves as the Chief Operations Officer of a medical rehabilitation company and volunteers as the Treasurer for the Brain Injury Society of Toronto.

In his spare time, Maninder enjoys traveling with his family to explore different countries, cuisines, and cultures.

Parul Vora is Vice President, Operational Governance at CIBC Mellon, where she is responsible for overseeing the governance framework for products and services provided by the organization’s Parent companies. In this role, she ensures service delivery is of the highest quality, compliant with regulatory requirements, operationally resilient, and aligned with corporate objectives and client expectations.

With more than 20 years of experience in the financial services sector, Parul has held senior leadership positions across insurance, payments, loyalty, and asset servicing. She is recognized for her commitment to client service excellence, operational integrity, and the development of high-performing teams.

Parul is also dedicated to community engagement. She serves as a Director on the Summit Housing and Outreach Programs Board and as Treasurer on the Indus Community Services Foundation Board.

She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University, an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business, and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).

Board Member

Namita is Global Clinical Development Director, at GSK. She is responsible for leading a global, cross functional team in executing oncology clinical trials and making a difference for patients around the world.

She previously taught part-time at Humber College within the Gerontology Program. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering with seniors and helping out within the community at food banks and fundraising events.

Liezle Trinidad

Indus Community Services – Chair, Ex-Officio

Liezle Trinidad is an experienced Health professional who works as a Long-Term Care Program Director with the Region of Peel, Long-Term Care Division in the Health Services Department. She has been a Registered Nurse for 27 years with experience ranging from acute, community health, and long-term care. She has worked in a variety of leadership roles demonstrating passion and a person-centred approach supporting seniors health. Liezle leads with confidence and focuses on collaboration to foster positive partnership.

Liezle holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Toronto, and a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Concordia University, Chicago. She has also completed various certifications in Long-Term Care Management, Change Leadership, and completed the Advanced Health System Leadership Program with the University of Toronto, Rotman School of Management through the Central West LHIN.

She has been actively involved in the St. Michael’s Choir School community as a Junior Choir mom and parent council class representative.

Indus Community Services – CEO

Gurpreet S. Malhotra has been a professional in Human Services for over 28 years and is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Indus Community Services, which is a leading provider of culturally appropriate community, and health services. The agency has six locations and a dedicated staff complement of over a hundred.

Preceding that he was the principal of his own consultancy and worked at the Region of Peel as the Director of Strategic Planning, Policy and Partnerships in the Human Services Department. Prior to that, he served as a Senior Advisor at the Ontario Ministry of Community and Social Services.

Gurpreet has more than a decade of experience as a Professor and Program Coordinator of the innovative Community Development Diploma Program at the Sheridan Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning where he also served as a Human Rights Advisor. He also holds two degrees in Public Policy and Administration.

Director – Development

Jessica brings over 20 years of experience in community engagement, non-profit leadership, and global fundraising to the Indus Foundation. A graduate of Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology, specializing in Hospitality and Tourism Management and Event Management, she has dedicated her career to connecting people and purpose.

Jessica has led initiatives supporting wildlife conservation in Banff National Park, advancing education and sanitation in two Ugandan communities, and championing environmental and social justice worldwide. Before joining Indus Foundation, she served as Director of Development at RAVEN, amplifying Indigenous voices and advancing the rights and well-being of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Peoples across Canada.

Guided by a belief that strong communities create a stronger planet, Jessica is passionate about collaboration, empowerment, and building partnerships that nurture both people and the environment.

Dolly Singh
Director – Strategic Development

Dolly Singh has over 18 years of experience in the non-profit and community services sector, with a strong background in events, fundraising, and marketing.  At Indus, she leads the agency’s marketing and communications efforts, oversees grants, and manages various strategic initiatives.

In addition to her professional work, Dolly serves as active Board Member of the Sikh Heritage Museum of Canada.
